A route to discover the natural and cultural beauty of Ortona's inland, among vineyards, charming villages, and spectacular views of the sea and the Majella mountain. The journey starts from the cycle path below Lido Saraceni, following the coastline up to the Port and the Ritorna Lighthouse, witnesses to ancient stories that still live on in the region. From the path, near the Peticcio River, the route climbs up to the Ripari di Giobbe hill. From here, you enter the heart of Ortona's vineyards, "guarded" by the majestic silhouette of the Majella, known as the “Sleeping Beauty of Abruzzo.”

Nestled among the vines, the local Giovenzo farm will welcome riders to taste their sustainable wines, perfectly paired with traditional local products. After the tasting, it is time to pedal again through the most hidden paths of the Ortona countryside, immersed in the rural landscape with the Majella mountain always present at every turn. The tour reaches an exciting finale with a descent toward the sea and the Costa dei Trabocchi, right after pausing for a photo at the breathtaking viewpoint of the Acquabella Nature Reserve. Along the way, you can also admire the Punta Penna Lighthouse; standing at 70 meters high, it is the second tallest lighthouse in Italy, surpassed only by the Lanterna of Genoa.
